How long will it take for my sauna to be shipped?
We try to ship ASAP. Do to overwhelming demand please allow 3 to 6 weeks for delivery

Do you offer cedar saunas?

We can take special requests for cedar at an upgraded charge. Due to the fact cedar can release harmful toxins; we prefer to promote our Hemlock Saunas. Hemlock is hypo-alergentic.

Will I need to hire an electrician?

Standard household electrical outlets are rated at 120v, most are rated at 15amps which will run the 1 & 2 person saunas. The 3 & 4 person saunas require a 20 amp dedicated outlet, which is a inexpensive upgrade.

How will my sauna arrive?

Your Pure Sauna will be shipped freight. It will arrive via a truck with a lift gate, the driver will assist in moving your sauna into the garage or the first dry area.

How long should a sitting last?

Your sauna session should be enjoyed for about an half an hour to an hour. However, your sitting should last no longer then 15 minutes during one sitting. You can have more then one sitting and make sure to drink something between your sittinngs.

Can I use my infrared sauna outside?

Pure Saunas are only intended to be used indoors.

Can our children use the infrared sauna?

You must supervise your children at all times. Children should not use an infrared sauna unsupervised.

Can I convert my infrared sauna into a steam sauna?

No, the infrared sauna is only to be used as a dry sauna. A far infrared sauna uses dry far infrared heat which is well ventilated which makes these saunas are extremely comfortable and relaxing.

Why is a far infrared sauna so unique to our bodies?

FIR has the ability to penetrate, refract, radiate and reflect. The human body can absorb FIR because of its deep penetrating ability. When FIR penetrates through skin to the subcutaneous tissues, it transforms from light energy into heat energy. The thermal effect within the deep layers of the tissues causes bloods vessels and capillaries to dilate, promoting a better blood circulation, and the heat so produced helps to get rid of body toxins and metabolic wastes through sweating. This is a very effective sweat therapy at a comfortable temperature from 75°F to 135°F (24°C to 57°C).

How does infrared heat therapy remove toxins?

Carcinogenic heavy metals (cadmium, lead, zinc, nickel) accumulate in the body during modern daily life. The body eliminates most toxins naturally by sweating but the process is sometimes too slow. Infrared heat therapy stimulates the sweat glands that cleanse and detoxify the skin. Toxins also like alcohol, sodium and nicotine can also be eliminated.
